Context
The Bespoke Provision is tailored educational opportunities for learners who require highly individualised learning plans. Learners access this provision due to EBSA, permanent exclusion and /or specific additional needs. Learners on a bespoke package of education, remain on roll at one of i-College units but it is designed to meet the academic, vocational, social, and emotional needs of each young person, helping them achieve their full potential in supportive and flexible and adaptive environments.
The curriculum is highly personalised, combining National Curriculum subjects with targeted personal development activities. Depending on the learner’s needs, this may include:

Bespoke Learner packages are fully flexible and designed around individual needs. Offerings include full-time placements or short-term, proactive programmes, as well as off-site or virtual learning opportunities. Partnerships with external providers, such as local sports academies or community organisations, enrich the curriculum, support learner engagement, and strengthen personal development.
The programme prioritises learners’ mental health and wellbeing. Support is provided through trained staff, family support workers, and access to counselling where required. Social, emotional, and behavioural development is tightly integrated into learning.
Learners on a bespoke package have access to careers education including work experience and personalised 1:1 guidance.
